Biography

Johanna Caskey earned her B.A. Degree in Psychology from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Johanna worked with Dr. R Brooke Lea in his cognitive psychology eye-tracking lab examining mechanisms of language processing, attentional control, and text comprehension. Johanna became a Clinical Research Coordinator in Dr. Scott Cooper's Motor Neurophysiology Lab at the University of Minnesota's Department of Neurology studying the impact of deep brain stimulation (DBS) on gait and postural instability among patients with Parkinson's Disease. She plans to earn a Master's degree in Statistics or Data Science with the goal of pursuing a career in database management and analysis in a research context.
